Ricardo is a well-known Swiss marketplace with over 5 mln transactions held annually. Recently it became clear to them, their current mobile apps are outdated when it comes to tech stack and possibilities to utilize the newest user engagement trends. Since they have lacked the native-mobile development skills in-house, we were asked to join their in-house team as experts, to facilitate their journey to build smooth, improved and intuitive mobile apps.
nomtek has helped Ricardo to reboot their mobile portfolio and make it both more user-centric and scalable from a tech standpoint. We have set up a high-tempo delivery team in conjunction with Ricardo’s in-house team in a fast and meaningful manner, so the process of replacing the old apps was smooth and efficient. At the same time, we were asked to build a QA process and the team, that assure the quality of the releases.
We managed to create a truly cross-functional environment that is obsessed not only with shipping software but also of having a continuous feedback loop with users. We managed to roll out the first working prototype and conduct the first user feedback session after 4 weeks from the project kick-off. Further development confronts what we've built with real users every sprint to make sure that the new versions that lands in the app stores are not only good but desirable.
