Optimizing Device Management with Siemens Healthineers

Siemens Healthineers, a pioneer in medical technology, operates in 70 countries. With Siemens Healthineers devices equipping many medical facilities, efficient data management is key for the company to ensure account executives find accurate device information quickly.

As part of our ongoing partnership, Siemens Healthineers wanted to build an application for organizing the database of their installed medical devices. We leveraged the potential of Flutter and reused components from the main application, AE360, to build the Installed Base Review Manager (IRM), an intuitive website application for device management.

Siemens Healthineers’ sales teams and account managers often face challenges in managing the medical devices installed across numerous healthcare facilities and the related systems data. Without a centralized system, retrieving accurate device information can be time-consuming and may hinder effective sales planning.

While Siemens Healthineers already employs several tools for device management, this web-based application makes it easier to identify which devices require attention from sales and service sales thanks to a clear UI/UX, simplified workflows, and efficient filters. These features support running detailed competitor analysis, customizing sales strategies for specific markets, and identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, helping sales teams make informed and strategic decisions more effectively.
